Evaluate the nutritional components of clear liquid, full liquid, low-residue, and bland diets to ensure adequate nutrition for patients undergoing surgical and gastrointestinal care.
Implement dietary modifications to support recovery, reduce the risk of complications, and optimize gastrointestinal function in patients undergoing surgery or procedures, as well as those with gastrointestinal disorders.
Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to optimize the application and nutritional adequacy of therapeutic diets in surgical and gastrointestinal patient care.
