Identify the clinical features and risk factors associated with hypertrophic scars and keloids to facilitate early diagnosis and intervention.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including corticosteroid injections, laser therapy, and other modalities, to effectively manage hypertrophic scars and keloids.
Select appropriate treatment options based on the patient's clinical presentation, risk factors, and scar characteristics, tailoring interventions to individual needs.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess long-term treatment effectiveness and prevent recurrence or progression of hypertrophic scars and keloids.
